Rev. Bonnie Nixon is known as a minister with warmth, and professionalism, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make your ceremony reflect your spiritual and religious needs. Rev. Bonnie also respects the fact that you may want a civil or non-religious wedding, with no mention of any religion. This attitude continues to result in exquisite and memorable ceremonies for brides and grooms each year.
Reverend Nixon's Services
You should have no surprises at your wedding ceremony. You should know and approve of what is going to be said. Your ceremony is about you, the bride and groom, not about the minister. We are committed to working with you to create a ceremony that will mirror exactly what you want. At our initial meeting we will go over my "Words for Your Wedding". This booklet explains all the parts of a standard ceremony. You will be able to put your own ceremony together from the various choices you are give, up to fifteen for each segment, i.e. Vows, Ring Exchange, etc. You ceremony can be "spiritual" without being religious. I can also issue your Los Angeles County Marriage License (see Marriage License section)even if we are not performing your ceremony. Just call our office for an appointment and see the Marriage License requirements section, and fill out the marriage license application in that section.
We issue marriage licenses 7 days a week.
Gay and Lesbian Weddings
The Secretary of State should allow marriage licenses to be issued in June 2008. Check back here and our blog for more same-sex wedding information. Book your wedding now and beat the rush. We are open 7 days a week for chapel and outside weddings.
Our Ministers / Officiants are available for weddings at your location also. Please call for rates and chapel specials.
All of our packages are unique and custom designed for each couple. Due to changes in the law regarding same sex marriages we will soon be able to issue licenses for Gay and Lesbian couples. Please contact us for more information.
We have male and female wedding officiants for your ceremony. We are professional wedding officiants and will provide you with a religious or civil ceremony. Each ceremony is custom designed for each couple from our Words for your Wedding ceremony guide. Come visit our chapel we are open 7 days a week and weekends are by appointment only.

08/08/08 This is a Friday and should be as popular as 07/07/07. Book early this date is filling up fast.

We have many couples getting married who are already parents. One of my great joys is to perform a ceremony in which two families become a "Blended family". I have ceremonies/vows to accommodate the "Blended Family" - my childrens’ vows include any children of the bride and groom in the ceremony. I also have words for the Rose Ceremony which gives the bride and groom an opportunity to honor their new mother-in law.
There is no charge for the get acquainted meeting. If you decide at that time to have me perform your ceremony, a deposit is required to hold the date and time open for you. I will leave it up to you to choose the wording for your ceremony from my material and/or yours. I will also include personal touches regarding you as a couple if you desire. I will have the ceremony ready for your review at the rehearsal, if there is one.
We are the Original Wedding Chapel in the South Bay. Do not trust your wedding to just anyone, we pride ourselves on being on time and we have never missed an event. We have been authorized by the County of Los Angeles since 1997 to issue marriage licenses.
We are one of the top issuers of marriage licenses in Los Angeles County. This is our full-time passion and we make sure your wedding is special and our ceremonies are from the heart. We meet with couples in our chapel/office 7 days a week. You can trust us to handle all aspects of your wedding and the timely filling of the license. Rev. Bonnie and Rev. We have married many Celebrities, Actors, Actresses, Models and TV Personalities over the years. We respect your privacy and you can trust us with complete confidentiality. We never publish or talk about the couples we marry in private. For what ever your reason we respect your privacy.
We also travel to you with the marriage license and can marry you in your home or any location you like with in Los Angeles County.

Each week we do a number of "instant weddings" or "elopements" at our Chapel, Cherished vows (www.cherishedvows.com). Please refer to that web page for more details. All you need to do is call for an appointment, and we can usually marry you that day or the next.
BI-LINGUAL
One of my associates, Rev. Maxine Sealey, speaks fluent Spanish and can perform your ceremony all in Spanish or Spanish English.
WEDDING TRADITIONS & CEREMONIES
Bring traditional elements into your wedding... If you would like to have a Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony, Break the Glass, Jump the Broom, Lasso, Coins / Arras, Communion, Dove or Butterfly release, Flowers for the Blessed Virgin Mary, etc. we can help you with that element. More reasons to get a Confidential Marriage License...
♥Are you planning to get married in a foreign country like Mexico, France or Italy? Some countries have strict requirements and residency restrictions. Avoid the hassle and get married before you leave.
♥You and your spouse are the only ones that can get a copy of the recorded license. This protects your privacy and prevents anyone from obtaining a copy. So often recorded documents wind up on tabloid websites. You can avoid this by getting married with a confidential marriage license.
♥Often you do not want a former spouse to know you have remarried.
